ALL ADULTS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINING to camp with Pack 90 – YOUTH PROTECTION LINK
It may have been a little chilly overnight, but the 2010 Family Camp Out at Cub World seemed to have hit the target with scouts and their families. This was a great camp out with lots of good food, entertainment, and fellowship. During the camp out scouts were able to fish, hike, play flag football, go to the archery range, and star gaze.
We’d like to thank all the volunteers who helped make this camp out a success.
Photos of the camp out have been added to our Photo Gallery, check it out when you have a chance
Departure – We are meeting at Balcones Park at 11:45 on Saturday morning and departing from that location. If you are unable to depart with us at 11:45, please let me know, so I can let the Camp Master know to expect others to arrive separately. View Directions to Cub World in Bastrop
Medicals – Some folks attending this weekend’s camp out have not yet filled out and turned in their BSA medical form. Please do so ASAP. We must have a medical for everyone attending the camp out.
Fishing – The Cub World Camp Master says the fish are really biting. The catfish are hitting on worms and corn and other fish have been hitting on shrimp and crill. Adults who fish need a fishing license, which will need to be purchase separately.
Green Camping – Pack 90 tries to “go green” while camping, so please bring your own eating implements. This can be as simple as a frisbee, a water bottle and some plastic silverware.
