TentIt's here again -- the first family camping trip of the year. This one will be at Canyon of the Eagles (http://www.canyonoftheeagles.com/), a lovely former LCRA park outside of Burnet, Texas. The trip date is October 6th, staying overnight for one night. The cost of the trip is $15 per person. We will post more details soon, but one of the features will be a star party at the Eagle Eye Observatory organized by the Central Texas Astronomical Society. Because this is the first trip, everyone will need to have medical forms updated, and all adults need to check and make sure their Youth Protection is not more than two years old. Medical forms are available online and can be filled out electronically. We still have most of the medical forms from last year, but the forms themselves are only valid for 12 months, so to keep record-keeping tasks to a minimum, it would be easiest if everyone filled out new forms. This trip will only require filling out parts A and B on the form, but we'll need a separate form for every member of the family going on the trip.
